So, we haven't decided yet where or exactly when my fiance and I are going to get married, although we have a pretty good idea of both. Nothing is nailed down, yet. We're thinking of a destination wedding, so planning one of those can take a lot of time. We're hoping to go check out the possible location next month.
But I do have a few ideas to share for centerpieces, decor in general, flowers, etc. By the way, if you're planning a wedding and you're on a tight budget, go to FlowerBud.com. You can order bulk flowers and do your arrangements yourself for much cheaper than using a florist. Here are some ideas that I think would be great for a beach wedding:
I love this idea of varying heights and using fruit...how fresh! I LOVE the initial clings, too. Great for summer parties.
My mom and maid of honor voted for this centerpiece idea. I really love orchids and with the reception being at night, this would provide a nice light on the tables, I think.

I'm a photo freak, so this is a cool idea. At each table, hang Polaroid photos from a branch to create the centerpiece. Use 8 so each person at the table can write a message to the couple on the bottom of each photo. Might use this idea in a different way...maybe a photo wall?

What a cool looking cake! Perfect for the beach.

This is one of my favorite invitations I've found so far. I love WeddingPaperDivas.com! They have amazing, contemporary designs.

David's Bridal bridesmaid dress I like. Too bad they had to cut her feet off. :(

This girl has feet, yay! David's Bridal rocks because all of my bridesmaids live in a different part of the country, so it's really convenient for them because you can find a DB store just about anywhere.

I enjoy this dress as a long option. Also from DB. My maid of honor, Michelle, is coming to visit at the end of this month to try on these fab gowns and probably several more until we choose four gowns for my girls. I'd like for them to all wear a different gown, but ultimately it will be up to them. No bridezilla here!
I'll continue to post ideas and if you have any, please email them to me!
