ART OF RECYCLING
April 6, 2017: A exhibition showcasing the unique talents of UTK Sculpture students in partnership with Gerdau Steel located at the Knoxville Convention Center.

RHYTHM N’ BLOOMS MUSIC FESTIVAL
April 7-9, 2017: Set against the historic backdrop of Knoxville’s Old City, this three-day festival spotlights performances from the most exciting emerging acts in American roots music – encompassing blues, country, jazz, rock, indie, and everything in between. Pass required.

FIRST FRIDAY: GUITAR DESIGN CONTEST
April 7-9, 2017: Dogwood Arts is proud to announce the fifth annual Guitar Design Contest, an exciting opportunity for students to customize an Epiphone Guitar with original artwork! Designed Guitars can be viewed at Awaken Coffee during First Friday and Rhythm N’ Blooms Music Festival.

HIKES & BLOOMS
April 12, 2017: Produced along with Legacy Parks Foundation, these interpretive hikes will highlight interesting facts, features, and flora about unique locations.

DOGWOOD ARTS FEATURED GARDENS
April 22 & 23 2017: Select homes with distinguished and remarkable gardens open their grounds to the public for a short time only.

ARTISTS ON LOCATION
April 26-29 2017: The Knoxville Museum of Art encourages artists take their materials outdoors and respond directly to the area’s natural springtime beauty. Artists will be creating masterpieces during the Dogwood Arts Festival.

DOGWOOD ARTS FESTIVAL ON MARKET SQUARE
April 28-30, 2017: Formerly known as Market Square Art Fair, several blocks of downtown Knoxville becomes a dynamic street festival encompassing high-quality visual, performing, culinary, and children’s arts.

ART SLAM
April 30, 2017: A fast-paced art competition where artists create paintings in Krutch Park to be auctioned for Dogwood Arts & The Muse Knoxville

BIKES & BLOOMS
April 29 & 30, 2017: Produced along with Legacy Parks Foundation, experience the Dogwood trails the lean, green way – on a bicycle by way of an organized ride.

WALKING TRAILS
April & May 2017: Focusing on the idea of stepping out into our community, the trails are at least one-mile in length and folks are encouraged to walk, run, or bike these trails. Walk, run or bike these trails to earn miles towards the Covenant Health Dogwood Patch!
