Jennifer Lopez slayed her performance this past Sunday in Miami. She awed the crowd in her red, white, and blue coat that revealed the Puerto Rican Flag.
Though the feathery fashion statement was a win for “Jenny from The Block”, the animals right group PETA was not into it at all. The immediately called the singer out for her fashion choice.
“This flag could have flown without killing birds,” read a tweet from PETA. “Dozens of birds were KILLED for this #SuperBowl #PepsiHalfTime performance.”

According to one of the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer’s stylist from Sunday on Instagram, Mariel Haenn, J.Lo’s feather flag coat was a custom made piece by Versace. It featured red, white, and blue feathers “all individually sewn in.”
