According to Gizmodo, a study found out that smart speakers might be eavesdropping after being accidentally activated not by users but another source.
This study found the following shows on Netflix to be those that may activate your smart speaker without your command.

The L Word
The Office
Greenleaf
Dear White People
Riverdale
Jane the Virgin
Friday Night Tykes
Big Bang Theory
The West Wing
Narcos
The research mentions that study excludes any instances which a smart speaker is activated by its actual wake word. They used over 120 hours of audio from 12 Netflix series and found that the smart devices were activated between 1.5 and 19 times in a single day.
