Brennan and Abby Norman had a wedding planned for April 25th but knew they would have to make changes to their special day.
“We knew things had to change,” the groom tells PEOPLE.

“We knew we wouldn’t be able to have a reception. We knew we weren’t going to be able to have any sort of parties or major gatherings when they started shutting down all the schools.”

Together they came up with the idea to have a drive-in wedding though they didn’t know exactly how they were going to make this happen. Their honeymoon was canceled, and they didn’t plan on having a huge reception, so they moved the date to April 10.

The night before the wedding the location was picked and set up. There was even a way for the guest to listen in from their car to the newlywed vows.

According to People, Brennan connected with a friend who puts on a huge Christmas decoration display each year, complete with lights that sync up to music. With his advice and help from employees at a local Radio Shack, he used a FM transmitter so guests could turn on a specific radio station from their car stereos to tune in.
