Through the Boys & Girls Club of Tennessee Valley and Centro Hispano, Dogwood Arts is providing free art kits to kids during this time worrisome time.
According to Knoxville Daily Sun, Dogwood Arts “compiled and delivered over 600 Art Kits that will be distributed to kids ages 3-18 through the nonprofit partnerships.”
This effort will take away the stress from parents who experienced dramatic financial changes due to the coronavirus spread. These art kits will also give gives the opportunity to express themselves and continue creating.
“Dogwood Arts hopes to expand the program throughout the spring and summer, reaching more kids and partnering with additional organizations that serve communities in need.”
