When I first moved to Knoxville a few months back I made sure to find a local butcher shop and thanks to the suggestions of our amazing listeners, I found one that I visit on a regular for my butcher needs.
Willy’s Butcher Shop is giving to the community of Knoxville from the kindness of their heart. This Saturday, Willy’s will be giving away 450 pounds of ground beef to the Knoxville community.
“Willy’s is functioning on the honor system, but if you have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19, Willy’s will provide 3 pounds of ground beef (one serving per car) to you,” in a statement on their Facebook page.
The meat shop will be handing out “curbside” beginning at 9a on Saturday.
They are open for business 10 AM to 6 PM Tuesday through Friday and 9 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday. Currently, they are following social distance guidelines by only allowing 3 customers at a time, if they have a face covering. Also, offering curbside service just place your order by calling (865) 200-4118 or their site willysbutchershop.com.
