Domestic Violence can affect anyone, anytime. With families spending an increased amount of time together in close quarters due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it can exacerbate these situations, while also making it more difficult for victims to seek services to get help.
The YWCA Knoxville and the TN Valley is still providing these essential services including housing, domestic violence services, and youth programming.
In addition, they are now hosting virtual support groups in English, Spanish, French and Arabic. The Support Group provides a virtual option for victims to receive support from YWCA staff and other women who have survived domestic violence.
