“Wendy Williams: The Movie,” finally gets itself a trailer.
The trailer dives into the life of daytime TV talk show host Wendy Williams. It even gives us a glimpse into her struggles with drugs. Williams is executive producer of the movie but don’t roll your eyes just yet. She is doesn’t seem to hold back on any drama according to the trailer.
“I haven’t seen anything, including what you’re about to see, [like this before],” Williams said before debuting the trailer.
Darren Grant, whom Williams described as an “award-winning person in the business,” directs the Lifetime biopic, which he said he’d only work on if it didn’t get “watered down.”
This biopic premiers January 30 at 8pm on Lifetime.
