Chadwick Boseman won a posthumous Golden Globe for best actor in a motion picture, drama, at the 2021 Golden Globes last night for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. His wife, Simone Ledward Boseman, accepted the award on his behalf, and gave a speech that brought me to tears.
It brought to mind a quote from Friday’s episode of WandaVision, “But what is grief, if not love persevering?” She clearly loved Chadwick so much and continues to honor him with how she speaks of him.
