The owner of Heavenly Pizza in Findlay, Ohio wanted to thank his employees for working so hard through the pandemic. He set an ‘Employee Appreciation Day’ where he planned to give all that day’s profits to his employees. He let the town know, and they showed up. At the end of July 5th, the restaurant was able to split $7,500 between their employees, which came out to be about $80 an hour for each shift.
