Will Ferrell was offered $29 million to make a sequel to ‘Elf’, and he turned it down. That was a GOOD decision because the script was trash and he didn’t want to have to promote something he knew was terrible. As a fan of the original, I appreciate that he’s letting the classic stand alone.
