The NFL along with ESPN and Disney+ are partnering to gain a younger viewership. This past Sunday the three brands partnered to show the game from London on the Disney+ platform but with a twist. That twist was simulcasting the game from Andy’s room from Toy Story. The live NFL feed was rebroadcast in Pixr animated characters playing the game as well as the announcers explaining the rules of the game so younger viewers would understand the concept of football. Check out what it looked like below.

There have been some glitches but the Toy Story game is really well done.
The NFL has a chip in each player’s shoulder pads to track movement & then combines that with Hawkeye optical tracking (like tennis) to animate the game in real-time.
