To most, this is just one of those over priced cute coffee mugs with an inspirational quote on it. They’re not wrong. But to me it is so much more. The end of last year I was going through one of the HARDEST seasons of my entire life, I was surviving and I was trying to thrive but I wasn’t there. I was on the verge of it. You know when you’re ready to make the leap, but maybe you haven’t believed in yourself yet? You just can’t do it yet, but you want to.
Well I was shopping at one of those cute downtown boutiques with my grandma, [my favorite person] and she said something like “That’s your mug, you need that mug.” I looked at the price it was way too much, and made a mental note… but later that day I went back for that overpriced mug, and every time I drink out of this mug I’m reminded “I believed I could, So I did.” You can too! Whatever it is, you can do it.
Since buying this mug, I have moved states by myself with 2 small kids, taken the job of my dreams, found happiness within myself, and watched my kids and myself thrive, and it hasn’t even been a year since I’ve bought this mug. I love the reminder it gives me when I need it.
