There are audition videos of Britney Spears trying out for the role of the 2004 Nicholas Sparks movie The Notebook. Allegedly the role of Allie Hamilton in the movie came down to Britney Spears or Rachel McAdams. Clearly, we know who stole the role but would it have been just as good if it were Britney?
