Kanye West released a new song, his version of the 1997 Backstreet Boys hit “Everybody.” It is gaining a lot of traction, however, he did not get the boy bands permission… and he uses a sample of their song!! On top of a lot of legal issues, I wonder if this will cause people to not like this song. I feel like Kanye West does this with a lot of things, askes for forgiveness rather than permission. But, I also feel like that’s why he has the image and stigma he has.
In my opinion, he should have definitely ran it past them first. I REALLY like his version… but that wasn’t cool.
P.S) The verses aren’t kid friendly.
