Harrison Ford will receive the Career Achievement Award at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday, Jan. 14.

Ford has had roles in many of the biggest blockbusters in history, and is considered one of the greatest movie stars of his generation. He is a part of blockbuster franchises with iconic characters such as his Han Solo in “Star Wars” and the archaeologist Indiana Jones in the film series of the same name.  He’s also appeared in classic films including “Blade Runner,” “The Fugitive” and “Air Force One.”

The 81-year-old Ford has earned three Golden Globe nominations, and one Oscar nom for best actor for his work in Peter Weir’s drama “Witness” (1985). He has also been honored for his contributions to the film industry, including the BAFTA’s Albert R. Broccoli Britannia Award and the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award. At last year’s Cannes Film Festival, he was bestowed with the honorary Palme d’Or when “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” premiered.

Ford currently stars in the Apple TV+ comedy series “Shrinking,” for which he’s nominated for supporting comedy actor at this year’s CCA ceremony. He also stars opposite Helen Mirren in the Western period drama series “1923” from Paramount+.

The 29th annual Critics Choice Awards will air live on The CW at 7 p.m. ET.
