We all use emoji’s and now they are appearing as a sign of disrespect. Gen Z is known for their unique interpretations of symbols and emojis, now they are claiming the thumbs up emoji is the new equivalent of the middle finger. This shift in meaning may be due to the overuse of the thumbs up emoji in casual conversations, leading some to see it as insincere or dismissive.
