Summer is, unfortunately, starting to wind down and soon Fall will be here. But we can’t go into the new season without acknowledging the artists and songs that made the summer a banger. Whether it be a song that you lounged to by the pool, belted out during a road trip, or got you ready for a night out.
TikTok released the “Songs of the Summer” for the U.S. and across the globe.
The #1 spot went to Tommy Richman – “Million Dollar Baby”
His fame started on TikTok and quickly rose to radio when people were catching the vibes of his unique voice and sound. Tommy Richman told TikTok,
I’m very blessed about what has transpired this year. I made this song with all of my friends and I’m just so excited that our flowers were given from this creation. It took on a life of its own that I could have never imagined. I’m thankful for everyone that’s listening.
Tinashe – “Nasty” was next on the U.S. list. She was also second, globally.
After some time away, Tinashe came back as an independent artist and made an impact with her song “Nasty” which had several celebrities using the song in their own videos and taking on the dance challenge.
