Micheal Keaton reflects on the original Beetlejuice 

The original “Beetlejuice,” directed by Tim Burton and released in 1988, and became a beloved film for its unique blend of dark comedy, quirky characters, and imaginative visual style. Michael Keaton’s portrayal of the mischievous and eccentric ghost Betelgeuse (pronounced “Beetlejuice”) remains iconic. Keaton recently talked with People Magazine about what that experience was like ahead of the sequel release this weekend. Check the 6 min mark.

The sequel has generated a lot of excitement, as well as some skepticism, given the long gap since the original film’s release. However, “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has the potential to be a successful and beloved continuation of the original story.
