Zayn Malik reportedly donated over $13,000 to a GoFundMe page on Tuesday to a 5-year-old girl, Caitlin, in need of cancer treatment. The girl’s mother, Helen Robinson set up the page and noticed a £10,000 (which is the equivalent of $13,140.65) was donated under former On Directioner’s name.
The GoFundMe page description reads that
“that funds raised through GoFundMe will go towards sending Caitlin — who is battling high-risk neuroblastoma (a very rare type of cancerous tumor that almost always affects children) — to Barcelona, Spain, for a “lifesaving treatment.”
It was later confirmed on Robinson’s Facebook page that the Zayn donation was true. She wrote. “Omg ZAYN MALIK DONATED TEN GRAND.”
A rep for Malik did not immediately return request for comment.
