The Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians local council re-launched its online cookie store. This will allow members of the community to purchase cookies and have them shipped.
This is being done with the hopes that struggling troops will receive help with sales after the disruption of the coronavirus pandemic.
As a result, public cookie booths were suspended halfway through the sales period. According to WATE, the local council has nearly 300,000 boxes of cookies remaining.
How to purchase cookies?
Visit girlscoutcsa.org and click on the “Digital Cookie” banner. You can then choose whether to have your cookies shipped to you or have a Girl Scout deliver them to you on a later date, once it is safe to do so.
You must order at least four cookie packages to have them shipped to you.
