My friend, Justin, was diagnosed with early on-set Parkinson’s, and has been doing everything he can to raise money and awareness for research to develop treatments, and hopefully one day, a cure. This photo of us is from the 80’s Prom For Parkinson’s he put together in 2018 that raised over $13,000 for research. Last year, he underwent experimental deep brain stimulation surgery, and the difference in his quality of life is astounding. This video of him eating cereal for the first time in 7 years demonstrates that.
