Many celebrities have been showing their support of Britney Spears since the New York Times aired their ‘Framing Britney Spears’ documentary about her conservatorship, and showed how the media’s treatment of her contributed to her breakdown. There has also been a demand for apologies from those depicted as participating in that bullying, including Justin Timberlake. While Britney has said she doesn’t hold any ill will towards JT, even he couldn’t deny that he contributed to the problem. Not just to Britney Spears, but also to Janet Jackson after she received most of the backlash from their Super Bowl halftime show performance in 2004 with the infamous “wardrobe malfunction”.
