Ed Sheeran has been in court battles for the last five years. His music has been in question with plagiarism; it seems he put it to rest last week. Sheeran was accused of ripping off Marvin Gaye’s song “Let’s get it on” in his 2014 hit “Thinking Out Loud”. Both songs had a similar sound which is why Gaye’s camp was seeking $100M from Sheeran. The verdict in NYC said otherwise and the popstar was acquitted. After the trial, Sheeran said the following:
