Have you seen the movie “The Blind Side”? The award-winning movie follows the heartwarming story of Michael Oher and a well-off family in Memphis helping him to achieve his potential. According to an article at ESPN.com the Real Michael Oher is a legal battle with his alleged adopting family the Tuohy’s.  Oher is claiming the family never adopted him and coaxed him to sign a conservatorship, which gave them legal authority to make business deals in his name.  Michael’s filed petition says alleges that the Tuohys used their power as conservators to strike a deal that paid them and their two birth children millions of dollars in royalties from an Oscar-winning film that earned more than $300 million, while Oher got nothing for a story “that would not have existed without him.”
