If you have a child who has sensory issues, and meeting Santa is something they would love to do but it is extreme sensory overload for them… West Town Mall has the answer. They have been doing a sensory friendly “Caring Santa” event for 10 years. This is the only Sensory Friendly event in Knoxville. The full article is here.

You can make a reservation for your family here.

Reservations are encouraged, but walk ups are allowed as well. It does mention that multiple families will be seen in  a 15 minute window, but I assume being a long standing sensory event it is a lot less families than would normally be there.

“The Magic of Advance Reservations

  • Get a free phone call from Santa, powered by Portable North Pole

  • Lock in the date and time of your choice

  • Free access to MyPhoto all holiday season

  • Make checkout a breeze onsite “

I love that Knoxville has an event like that, something inclusive where everyone can enjoy the magic of Christmas and meeting SANTA!!
