Pepsico and Empirical have teamed up to create a liquor that tastes like Doritos. This will be a limited supply alcohol and it will hit shelves in January selling for about $65. Empirical says it “opens with umami and tangy aromas of nacho cheese, moving to the deeper, corn-forward flavors of the chip to finish on a soft salty note.”
Ok.. me personally, I like the interesting beverages, the Peanut Butter alcohol, the banana flavored, but… I don’t think I can get behind this. I think it’s an instant way to throw up. I can see it being more of a collection beverage, something someone keeps to show off, but I can’t imagine sipping it regularly. However, now that I know it exists, I need to try it. Who’s with me?!
