Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Global have had talks about a potential merger.
David Zaslav and Bob Bakish, the CEOs of Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Global, reportedly had a lunch meeting in New York on Tuesday (Dec. 19).
Both companies have declined to comment on reports of merger talks.
It’s reported that a potential reason for a merger would be for Max and Paramount+ to combine to compete more with Netflix, Disney+ and Hulu.
