Many know DR. Dre as the guy who discovered Eminem but if you know Hip Hop you would know DR. Dre’s Origin story. Dre was a DJ trying to find his way into the music industry in the 70’s & 80’s. He was one of the founding members and producer for Iconic Hip Hop Group NWA, then departed to be the studio producer for Death Row Records producing 2Pac and Snoop Dogg. After Dre’s time at Death Row, Dre partnered with Jimmy Iovine creating Interscope/ Aftermath records. In early 2010, he sold Beats by Dre to Apple. Now he is getting recognized on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
