The new soda brand “Poppi” is being sued for allegedly falsifying information. The popular soda brand claims it is a “Gut Healthy” soda with prebiotics and is an alternative to traditional soda. Celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Post Malone have been linked to the product but may be cutting ties. The lawsuit was filed in California claiming, that Poppi consumers, states that the company concealed and misrepresented the “true nature” of its products, Consumers would have to down four cans of Poppi for positive gut effects, which the drink’s high sugar content would then offset. The suit further alleges Poppi doesn’t warn consumers about the health risks of its brand of prebiotic, the dietary fiber agave inulin. (Quote from TheCut.com)
