Since the announcement of Katy Perry leaving the judges table with American Idol there have been multiple people in the mix to take the position. Names like Miley Cyrus, Meghan Trainor and even Jordin Sparks have allegedly been connected to the role. To everyone’s surprise American Idol has finally named the replacement and it is Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood. This seems to be a perfect fit considering Carrie’s incredible recording career.
